As promised, here's my astrology report.  It's a long read and can get tedious and dull, but it lacks any inaccuracies of who I am and how I think.  So grab a glass of cold milk and a package of Oreos and sit back and prepare yourself to be enlightened:

Section 1: General Characteristics

Your fundamental needs, values, and orientation towards life are symbolized by the four astrological elements, Pat. Each person has their own unique balance of these four basic energies: fire (warmth, inspiration, enthusiasm), earth (practicality, realism, material interests), air (social and intellectual qualities), and water (emotional needs and feelings).

Your "elemental make-up" is described below. Remember that most people are "unbalanced" or lopsided, and if you are lacking or deficient in a certain element (or elements), it simply means that you need to consciously develop that aspect of yourself to learn to appreciate and/or to work harder in that dimension of life.

Sometimes we overvalue the element that we are least endowed with, sensing it as a lack within ourselves, but more often we neglect or ignore it. The qualities described below will be reiterated and explained in more detail in the following chapters.

Your gift lies in your ability to perceive, understand, and communicate about matters of feeling, of heart and soul. Relationship is really a primary importance to you and is the arena in which your richest and most fulfilling experiences lie. Pat, you, even more than most people, require friends and intimates to share your thoughts and your life with.

Section 2: How You Approach Life and How You Appear To Others

The following is a description of your basic stance towards life, the way others see you, the way you come across, the face you show to the world. In Chapter 3 you will read about the "The Inner You: Your Real Motivation", which describes the kind of person you are at heart and where your true priorities lie. Read this chapter and the next one and compare them - there may be significant differences between them, in which case "the inner you" may not shine through and others are in for some surprises when they get to know you at a more than superficial level. This chapter describes the costume you wear, your role in life, while Chapter 3 talks about the real person inside the costume.

You are a natural diplomat, reasonable, tolerant, fair, always willing to listen to varying viewpoints, and ready to see the other side of an issue, Pat. Even if you strongly disagree with someone, you will try to find points of similarity and agreement rather than emphasizing the differences. You often avoid taking an extreme or one-sided stance on anything. You have a strong desire for harmonious and pleasant relationships, and express a spirit of cooperation, compromise, friendship, and fairness. Like most Pisces, you very much want to be liked and because of your need for approval and acceptance, you are easily influenced by others' opinions, especially when young, and this trait is further brought out by the presence of the Libra Ascendant found in your chart. You so much want to please that often you will suppress your own intense or unpleasant feelings in order not to offend others. Sometimes your politeness is interpreted as being phony or wishy-washy.

From your home furnishings to your choice of clothing, everything must be aesthetically appealing, not simply functional or utilitarian.

Marriage is very significant to you and finding the right person to share your life with is extremely important. Being part of a close couple seems natural to you - you are not an independent loner. Having a partner increases your self-confidence. Finding the balance between being yourself and blending and uniting with another is a challenge for you.

Others see you as an agreeable, smooth, harmonious, and "nice" person, Pat,. Though there may be much more to you, this is the sort of face you show to the world. You possess personal charm and an understated, noncombative manner. Your motto could be "you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar" for you usually take a friendly, cooperative approach rather than a strong, forceful, I'm-going-to-conquer-the-world attitude.

Section 3: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation

Your pleasant manner and desire to relate harmoniously with others (as discussed in chapter 2) combines with your idealism, receptivity, and impressionability (as discussed below) to make you a very self-sacrificing Pisces who is willing to go the extra mile for someone's benefit. Be wary of the tendencies to lack discrimination in your charity, to try to help someone who is incorrigible, and to avoid confrontations, Pat. You are inclined to hide your thoughts and feelings, make excuses and even lie, often just to avoid someone or some issue. Strive to be honest in your communications; it will also help you be honest with yourself. If you channel your energies well, you can be a great help to others, perhaps in a professional role as a counselor, teacher, or consultant or perhaps just your daily life and affairs.

At heart you are very gentle, impressionable, and receptive -a dreamer. The world of your imagination, feelings, and intuition is as real to you as anything in the outer world, though you may have trouble verbalizing or interpreting your inner experiences in a way others can understand. A mystical, artistic, musical, emotional and imaginative Pisces, you have a rich inner life, though you may seem rather unobtrusive and quiet outwardly. You usually keep to yourself.

You have great sensitivity and empathy with others, Pat, and you often sense things psychically or intuitively which prove to be correct. Impulsive, restless, and spontaneous, your life is apt to be somewhat unstable and full of sudden changes. You are extremely independent and crave excitement, adventure, freedom, and discovery. An outspoken and direct Pisces due to the influence of the Mercury in Aries aspect found in your chart, you are always eager to express your ideas and opinions and don't mind opposing the consensus and stirring up a little controversy. You have fresh, original ideas and much enthusiasm for anything new and untried, but once the novelty has worn off, you are interested in another new idea or project. You never seem to have enough time to do all you want to. You are very honest, speak decisively and convincingly about things you believe in, and are unable to pretend to agree with someone if you honestly don't. You may be somewhat deficient in tact.

Your desire for harmonious relationships and surroundings is so strong that you avoid personal confrontations or any expression of intense, unpleasant emotions. Like many people born under the Pisces sun sign, you are an idealist who would like to paint the world in pastel colors, and live in peace and harmony with others at all times. You are able to see points of similarity and unity with people who are vastly different from yourself, and befriend many different types of people. You are a considerate and thoughtful friend, Pat, and have a real flair for making others feel accepted and appreciated. Inwardly you are often torn with indecision and are much more at odds with yourself than others would ever guess from your smooth, even disposition.

Your own feelings and emotions are something of an enigma to you, and it is often difficult for you to share with others what you are feeling.

You frequently withdraw from contact with the world, and need a healing, peaceful environment in order to blossom and come out of yourself.

Pat, due to the presence of the Mars in Aries aspect of your chart, you have a warrior's attitude - decisive, courageous, and bold. You tend to always want to DO something, even when waiting for an appropriate time or not doing something (simply letting things alone to resolve themselves) would actually be more efficient and effective. Unlike more laid-back Pisces, you absolutely cannot tolerate being passive or even patient about getting what you want. You feel that it is up to you to take the initiative and you go after your goal or desire very aggressively.

You are also self-reliant, do not depend on others to do things for you or help you along, and you are often irritated when other people offer advice or direction. Cooperation rarely comes easily to you. You are willful and can be quite oblivious to others' desires or feelings when you are pursuing something you want. Your strength lies in your ability to be innovative, open to new progressive concepts, willing to experiment and to reject customs and traditions when they cease to serve any positive function in the present. Also, Pat, you have an expansive view of the world, one that includes humanity and not only your own small, personal circle.

You are very a hospitable Pisces and, due to the influence of Jupiter in the 4th house found in your chart, love having a large, comfortable, gracious home where you can welcome guests as well as family. Your childhood or heritage was very nourishing and supportive, giving you a solid, emotionally secure basis for your life, and you are therefore inclined to share what you have freely and generously.

Section 8: Areas That Challenge You Or Are Difficult For You

You yearn for, and fear, being emotionally vulnerable with others and experiencing deep emotional intimacy. Trusting others and letting yourself be known in a deep way doesn't come as easily to you as it does to most Pisces, and sexual inhibitions may result from this. You are very self-protective and may be compulsively secretive, Pat. Learning to relinquish control in personal relationships, and to be completely open, are important tasks for you.

Your fears revolve around money and material security, Pat, and you work very hard to ensure that your assets are solid. You may be very conservative, even stingy, with your money because you are afraid there won't be enough. You may turn this fear around and become very shrewd about investments and financial matters.

You are susceptible to deception by others and may encounter people who dissuade you from your objectives and try to use your vulnerability to their advantage. You should watch your relations very carefully so you won't get seriously hurt or disappointed.



Now we will discuss patterns of behavior which you instinctively and habitually revert to when under stress - a mostly unconscious process and one which you are apt to overdo because it is so familiar and thus easy for you. The direction you need to follow in order to develop balance, greater awareness, and wholeness is also described.

You gain by becoming more aware of the rhythm of the seasons and the natural world, learning to slow down and allow life to unfold in its own time. Nurturing a garden, a child, or some other living, growing thing gives you a sense of inner balance.

You have a tendency to be deeply suspicious, to not take anything at face value, to see hidden agendas and dark motives even where none exist! Life does not have to be conflict all the time... learn to accept things as they are.

You also need to develop patience, peace and stability by grounding yourself in your daily work and acting in a consistent and reliable way towards others.

The arena you are most likely to wrestle with these issues is in relationships that are more than superficial or casual - in particular where you and another have merged emotionally, legally, or financially. You have a reckless, impulsive, or very unconventional attitude toward money, material things, and ownership. Above all, you do not want to be possessed by your possessions. The obligations of owning things are likely to feel oppressive to you.

Also, Pat, you may make your money in a field that is unconventional, highly unstable, or very inventive and innovative. Your fortunes are likely to fluctuate widely throughout your life.

Daydreaming, lack of concentration, and inattention to your surroundings can be problems for you as a Pisces with a chart that contains Neptune in the 3rd house. Your mind tends to wander unless you are using it in an imaginative, creative way. Dry facts and cold logic hold no appeal for you, and unless a subject has a colorful or personally inspiring element, you won't stick with it for long. You have a sensitive, intuitive bent.

You are an intense person, Pat, inclined to be wholeheartedly and passionately involved in whatever your current interest is. You easily go to extremes and you make more moderate, easy-going souls feel uncomfortable.

Section 10: Generational Influences: Your Age Group

In this chapter we will discuss characteristics and traits of your generation, Pat. Of course, you may not share all of the characteristics of your generation, but you are greatly affected by the tone that is set by your generation.

The first topic is "The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group". In this section we will describe a deeply felt urge, even compulsion, of your age group. This deeply felt drive comes to the surface with great force and power, and consequently leaves in its wake considerable upheaval and change. The characteristics described below may affect a group of people for anywhere from a few years to about 30 years. There are one or more different astrological factors described in each of the three sections below.

The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group

You are part of a 12 year group of people who have a complex and deep emotional side, Pat. Your age group has a great fascination for the mysteries of life, and members of your age group will make extraordinary breakthroughs in the understanding of life processes; major advances in biological sciences will open up new technological possibilities. Intensive probing into genetic structure and cellular processes will accelerate genetic engineering into new vistas. There is a chance that crime, violence, and emotional disturbance will be relatively high in your age group, but hopefully your interest in the mysterious, strange, grotesque, and macabre will not manifest in this way.

The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group

You are part of a 14 year group of people who are conservative and traditional in spiritual aspirations and religious outlook. Your age group returns to some traditional basics in religion, and also traditional styles in music and art. Classical music and literature have a revival with your age group, and a great deal of inspiration is gained from the masters of arts, music, literature, and philosophy throughout history. Your age group is contemplative and reflective about religious matters, Pat, and you take an objective and logical approach to religious issues. Many of you are cynics and critics of spiritual and metaphysical ideas.

Other age groups criticize your group for not having enough heart and compassion. Sometimes this is true and is evidenced by some unusually crafty and manipulative fraud and deception that occurs in the higher ranks of governments and large businesses.
